Jeff graduated from the University of Illinois with a Master’s degree in Adult and Higher Education and an M.A. from Northeastern Illinois University.
He earned a Professional Certificate in Human Resource Development from National-Louis University and a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification.
Jeff is certified in Development Dimension International, DISC and Extended DISC Personal Styles, Criterion-Referenced Instruction, Instructional Module Development, Six Boxes Performance Thinking, Root Cause Problem Solving, and Crosby Associates Zero Defects Program.
Jeff is also well-trained and experienced in root-cause problem-solving, productivity improvement, quality improvement, time management, strategic & operational planning, vision and values, team effectiveness, succession planning, reward & recognition, personality assessment, executive coaching, climate surveys, culture management, and leadership & management development.
In his 40 years in business and consulting, Jeff has consulted with companies from Fortune 50 to Fortune 1,000 – as well as scores of small businesses. He has worked with over 100 clients in 27 industries. Jeff has started and grown two small businesses, as well.
Jeff instructed graduate courses at Ottawa University for 13 years including courses such as organizational development, human resources, quality improvement, and advanced business strategy.
In addition to authoring Goal-Directed Program Planning, Jeff’s work has been published in such prestigious journals as Executive Education in America, Management Review, Phoenix Business Journal, Training, Performance & Instruction, and Making Training Pay Off On The Job.
